The view from the shore is breathtaking. We watch in awe as a river of ink flows past; carrying with it the tales of humankind. We watch stories unfold while poetry undresses and eternity speaks of God. Our understanding is complete; ink is a recorder of visions, a reader of minds. Ink is life; exposing the nakedness of the heart and always painting a masterpiece.

I too like the ink of humankind. Blue yes, it should be. But with those humans,’progress” I suppose it is full of and discovered by paper, plastic, and human waste.

It’s lovely how you have captured the facets of that river of ink. I loved this line: “Our understanding is complete; ink is a recorder of visions, a reader of minds.”
The haiku well compliments the prose too!

Interesting way to think about it! Liked this but admit I was a little disappointed it contained nothing about Zeus. 😉 My Z dog is in mine. 🙂

What an evocative portrait of the writer’s way–and the poet’s way, in particular! Brilliant!
