What’s so wrong with ‘me first’?
That I should tender
to my very molecules
That I should orchestrate
my own brainwaves
and insist
on creating ‘value of self’
for selfsake?So here it is
-the boundary line
..separating me from the world
It spells ‘my sanity’
I choose to call it ‘Me First’Any objections?

No objections from me! This is a lesson one only learns over the course of many years, since we are brought up to put others before ourselves.

Objections? Never. I celebrate the decision, recognize its importance in a world where loving the self is often seen as a fault. If we don’t do all we can to hold our own molecules together, lovingly… then we’ll never be able to hug anyone else properly.
Lines must be drawn, if only so we can know where we need to step… if (and when) we need to cross them.
