Dead woman walking by
soul-less eyes cast far beyond
A state of being long forgotten
All she does now is envy others
comparing her life to their owntwisted
in bitterness devoid of insight
sans
light, sans life sans zest, sans soul
just
a dead woman glaring back at life

Paul hosts dVerse today….the theme…soul-gazing. Mine’s rather dark.

Aging brings its sad realities. The walking dead are all around us. We just don’t see them or try to avoid seeing them. You really did a great job on this one.

Well-described……the glaring at life, not realizing that it is their skewed vision that creates the world they see. Sigh.

You got it! Thank goodness… I had a slight temperature while writing so my brain was a little blah. Thank you 🙂

If there is one thing I know I need to do on this crazy mission to earth it is to keep my soul aflame. When the sleeping see an alive soul, their own cannot help but be stirred.

A soulless life is worse than a death. Strongly portrayed, Vivian.

I think dying starts long before the body gives up if we do not feed the soul’s fire.

She does seem to lack some zest for life. Our daily routines can turn us all into the walking dead
