I’m a student of poetry. It’s the only way I can put it. My first-ever poem was written on this blog a year ago (March 4th 2017- Desire.) Even then, I was amazed that I could write in metaphors….the words of my spirit.
My chief influencers have been all of you (fellow bloggers). Prompts taught me forms and meters. Challenges honed my skills. Critical comments continue to shape me- time and time again. If you ever happen to be looking for me, I’ll be in a poetry lesson. That’s where you’ll find me.

“that’s where you’ll find me” Those are actual lyrics to “Somewhere over the Rainbow” quite fitting I think.
