Who can fathom the mood and power of words?
I open my written gift
perfect in rhythm and punctuation
masterful in chasing fear away
pure poetry in the promise
of power
a wonderful reminder of the gift
of love …. and
the perfect assurance
of a sound mind
and all of it…just for me!

Vivian, I like your idea of writing “just for me!” Most times I like writing for my readers but I do have a blog “just for me!” where I write. I must do more of that after your fine words of inspiration here.

A writer that takes this much joy in her creation will always write magic for herself. And that rocks and then some!

This is so true, especially when a friend or relative has died; yet you may have a letter of theirs from times past that shows what a relationships you had with them.
