May I never be found
despising
the stony hearts
the concrete skies
the grave errors
the many problems
the closed doors
the sealed windows
the crushed dreams
and melted hopes
that lined my path
steering me this way and that
finally leading me to Heavens’ door

This is heartwrenchingly beautiful, Viv! 💝 Life is a blend of acrid and sweet, of all things joyful and distressing and how we choose to react to it.

It is always good to experience ups and downs in life so that you appreciate and are thankful for all the good that comes your way…especially heaven!

Always better to overcome/outlast than despise and surrender. Well done!

There’s something to be said for being grateful for those bumps on our road that helped us find the right path eventually. A grateful heart does take the sting out a bit and make the journey a little lighter.

Indeed, “may [we] never be found” regretting or unloving the hard bits of living that make us who we are.

We’re all the sum of our choices, and there is nothing to be gained by second-guessing them. They pave the way to who we become … hopefully older and wiser!

All these things, the closed doors, the crushed dreams and all the rest makes up the threads in the tapestry that makes each of us who we are. Your words are relatable and this sounds familiar because it is my world as well
