Dear Amazon,

I am a black female British author who uses your platform regularly. I have found Amazon to cater to all my publishing needs, except 1; the ethnic category listing.

Currently, in the UK, the available categories to someone like myself are African, African-American, British and Irish. Clearly, none of these reflect the black British author-and this is an issue I would very much like you to rectify.

In the same vein, there are several other nationalities of black authors who are citizens of the world and who also deserve a category reflecting their ethnicity.

I, therefore, look forward to seeing the Black British author category become a part of the British author landscape soon. Thank you.
