I love the mystery of not knowing
the secret power embraced in this frame
Of engaging in a moment that has already slipped into the past
but lies captured before me
Not knowing the depth of Mama bear’s aura
that makes her children’s sleep so sound
My eyes fix on Mama’s claws- not knowing how close to draw
to feel their breaths on my skin
Not knowing….
and loving the mystery of it, regardless

Wonderful – “My eyes fix on Mama’s claws- not knowing how close to draw / to feel their breaths on my skin” Great to have both the attraction and the danger and the mystery!

This makes me think of “Beauty and the Beast”. I think this bear is Gentle Ben (remember that TV show?), and the ladies feel ever so safe under his protection.

There is mystery in this and also caution as we now social distance and are afraid to get too close to those we love, even our mama.
