if beds are made with more care
before the embracing of  pillows 
and before the curling of spine
….there would be fewer regrets

if sheets are tucked in neatly
and blankets are straightened
before the head dive
and before the snuggles begin
..there’d be fewer complaints

with forethought
with foresight
…that’s when beds are made
before the snuggles
before the cuddles
before heads are laid
……that’s when beds are made
