Kerry, on Real Toads challenges us to write to a landscape or image that resonates. I immediately thought of zen stones and water..then I got the perfect image. This is how I would describe myself to anyone.
Still as paused breath
my soul as edgeless as vast waters
as mind, body and soul poise lazily
while hopes and dreams run for joy
and blossom in the deep

Pretty poem, you’ve hit a vein someplace in my bod. I like your line, “while hopes and dreams run for joy” as the organs are doing their thing in grand style.

I think the idea of zen stones links up perfectly to the human-landscape interaction mode. Lovely!
