In these last days
poets are like creatures raised
who rail
against stupidity
against inhumanity
and against death and destruction
..as we try to make sense of it all
But
they also serenade us
with love and laughter
tempt us
with mystery and intrigue
and help us
keep hope from circling the drain……in these last days

Yes, we chronicle the pain, and sing about hope….I am grateful for every single poem and poet! We may be the canaries in the mine.

It seems that dreaming poets are the only ones that can see clearly.
