It’s that space in the ether- full of riches
It’s a silence filled with charged hope
It’s the suppressed laugh with a lip that twitches
It’s where mind and body run to elopeIt’s solitude- that rare gift
for a mind with many thoughts to sift
It’s in solitude- where dreams and visions become one
It’s in solitude- where the real work is begun

Beautifully stated. Yes, our power is found within our solitude. It’s like medicine for me.

I know what you mean about solitude being the place where real work begins. Without vast amounts of solitude, I would hardly write at all.

So true on all account, and especially where real work is begun.

I love that your poem describes solitude as “a gift”. Because it truly is. To be alone and be able to appreciate the blessing of the situation is a privilege. A luxury too many can’t truly embrace, since for them solitude is just loneliness.
