I grew up in a home where intermittent solitude was considered an essential
part of personal growth. My dad always said that there was a time to ‘gather one’s thoughts’ and a time for ‘chit-chat’. Either way, he was already preaching to the converted, for I’ve always treasured my quiet time. There’s nothing in this world that can replace that time to reflect, to plan and time to dream.

Seasons holding hands
filling empty voids of time
with visions and dreams
