At the very bottom of any abyss
past a cacophony of ‘feelings’
past textbooks of’ intelligent reasonings’
lies the real ‘you’
in that place of purest honestyThere is much darkness here
but also a little lightUse this light
which can chase away the darkness
to reveal your sleeping dreams

I love the flow of this one, the way each stanza ends with a brightness and wisdom that grows into the next stanza, and the way the end of the poem opens a door into so much more…
