The things I never said to you
whilst in the flesh
you can now hear loud and clear
with every beat of my heart
That my voice was drowned
out in the cacophony of the universe
is of little import
Because without flesh in the way
I rest- knowing that
you finally understand me
through the sighs of my soul

So often, we lose someone without sharing our soul with them- our voices drowned out by the noise the world brings with it. I wrote this poem to reflect the idea that once flesh is gone, that unseen world becomes clearer and the voice of the soul, louder. Those words- unsaid are now revealed- as plain as day.
