As water fills her bath
so do thoughts fill her mind
-both readying for the dayI sense no currents under her skin
I see no whirlpools deep within
just a calm gentle girl…readying a bath to soak herself in

I love the comparison of bath and mind, Viv, and light and day fill the room. I love the way you’#ve captured her serenity.

You must have a beautiful mind Vivian to sense the calm as I felt the raised knee indicated a sense of apprehension about the coming day.

Interesting junction, between the painting and your poem, Vivian. Myself, I see a young woman trying to balance her concerns with the day coming forth.

Wonderful, Vivian. As the water fills the void for use so do the thoughts, ideas and plans fill our minds and schedule for the time.
