Blessed are those
who’ve been to hell and back
-barefoot, they traverse hot coals
and still stay on track
Blessed are those
who’ve been purified by fire
-they are observed
with glow in their aura
-as they cycle through life
without fear of failure

I love that this poem is quite biblical but also kind of daredevil! I love the thought of being purified by fire and having a glow in my aura!

A spell in hell tends to have that effect! What’s the worst that can happen?😎

So that is that glow around you! I know what this is about and I too have stepped out with no fear. but for some reason, this brings to mind Grenfell.

Reminds me of Evel Knievel and Churchill’s line: “If you’re going through hell, keep going!”

Reminds me of the 80’s, when fire walking was the rage – a New Age remedy for motivating greatness. Well done.

There’s an interesting slant here. I guess if you’ve experienced the worst and got through it, everything else is easy.

I really like the connections made within each stanza, especially the bit about how going through fire leaves a soul aglow (in a good way). Indeed, pain doesn’t have to be all bad.

Failure is not a problem as most of us will experience setbacks in every field of our lives; it is getting back up and trying again which wins through. This is something we should teach our children too.
