When you write – don’t stop

to polish your words to perfection

-to rinse each letter in

the detergent of eloquence

-to bury the truth

under a bouquet of lines

Rather, write from the heart

Words from here are already pure

-they glisten with sincerity

-aren’t always pretty

but the reader recognises them

because they resonate as they move

landing ever so gently

in that space between thoughts

For there, they gain full meaning

as they tug at your soul
