on sure footing
but sometimes I miss those egg-shells
They trained me in stealth
making me a ninja in 6-inch-heels
tap-dancing through flames
waltzing to the melody of chaos
without a cracking spellthose egg-shells sure gave me skills

You’re dangerous, ninja. Great poem, If men had to wear those, they would be outlawed

Like Ginger — backwards, doing everything the Daddy Long Legs did, but better! And in heels. 🙂

Big huge smile…The last time I wore high heels was for my wedding. I’ve worn flats ever since. I do like this poem Ms. Ninja.

Yes, walking on eggshells gives you skills but it’s too tiresome to do it for ever – being a ninja in
6-inch-heels has to be so much more exciting – live dangerously! I especially love the lines:
‘tap-dancing through flames
waltzing to the melody of chaos
without a cracking spell’.
You’ve created a vivid picture, Viv!

Hah! Clever take on the prompt….I could barely walk in 4″ heels in my youth. Now, after a broken ankle some years ago, I’m limited to flats. Very sad. Somehow really dressy clothes don’t look anywhere near as dressy with flats, even dressy flats 😦

I’m with you… from flats, I’m slowly moving to slippers. Ah well..we dream in poems- so I’m insisting that I wear 6 inch heels! 🙂
