“Just one bullet. That’s all I need,” chuckled Mark as he took another swig of brandy.
Since making the decision to kill himself, he’d planned on how to take down his oppressors at the same time. No spraying-bullets-at-the-office scene…

Great story but sad as well – as it is so true. Revenge is so easy today

I don’t know, I think I’d want to live and see it unfold 😉 Maybe hide out for a while.

I thought so too- I know I would. I think he made up his mind already.

I hope he gets an afterlife to see how his plan played out. A twisted tale of revenge, nice one.

Thanks, Iain….I’m not sure if he cares that much, somehow…

He’s quite the twisted one, though I’m sure he would have been more ‘satisfied’ if he’d been able to see the chaos that he’d unleashed.

Too true… we see it all the time (but it ends in bullets or other violence)

Too sad. Find a way to get even without doing yourself in.
Well done.

Revenge from the grave. Good portrait of a man destroyed by his victimhood mentality.

Well written, Vivian. I very much like the way you imply both meanings of the word ‘shot’ without actually using the word at all! That’s cunning! I’m not completely sure that a determined suicide would care about revenge, but what the heck – you made it feel convincing while I was reading.

Danger! So sad he wants to tear all those other folks down, even if they treated him badly. A sad end for him.
