(#Tanaga)
Real Toads : Fussy Little Forms~Tanaga
The tanaga is similar to haiku and tanka, being a compact quatrain with four seven-syllable lines. The tanaga can be written in various rhyme schemes, but traditionally all four lines rhyme, like aaaa bbbb cccc.

I hope for spring too… I know it’s coming, but I do love some real winter too.

I found a great time to play with words too. Spring came sooner last year here but we had record rains and it fooled our drought-ridden plants. This year is starting good I’m already seeing flowers on my bike rides in CA.

You are right. Yes, you are. I don’t care if the snow outside my door is laughing at me. There will be light! And blooms.

Spring is such a wonderful reminder that there is hope for new beginnings. I look forward to spring and summer time. At least, winter can take a back seat for a while. 🙂

Still hot in Australia, but do remember that longing for Spring when in the UK. Strange species are humans, always longing for the weather we haven’t got. Just wish it wasn’t quite so hot at night these days!

I absolutely agree – yet the heat in Australia has been so extreme lately that I fully understand and endorse Robin’s remark too.

Lovely poem. Indeed the sun is a restorer. I feel SO much better when the world is bright & the snow is melted. Hurry, spring.

Ready for soring, the world and our sun are also ready. We are about finished with it here in the Houston area. Yesterday was in the high eighties, as have several others. This week, though, will too out in the higher sixties.

Liked teading this, Vivian. For sure spring has troubles knowing when to come and go. Here, Houston, Texas, she came in late January. But already she is practicing bowing to summer. Every week since mid February we’ve had at least one day in the 80’s.
