Have you sown your wild oats?
are you distinguished in anguish?
drunk from betrayal’s cup?
becoming expert at forgiveness?are you poetic of spirit?
with fire in your soul?
One such as this,
a connoisseur of life
is a worthy soulmate
for all eternity

Those do seem to be things we most often need to endure to mature. I know the feeling of others thinking it’s about you when you write fiction–prose or poetry. Kind of scary.

😂😂😂 I wonder if I’ll have to keep saying ” it’s not me!”. But no matter…might as well enjoy the attention 😊😊

It shows you’ve written something others can relate to if they start assuming it’s first hand experience 🙂

Lol!. Love it. I am constantly on and off the apps. Using them unsettles me. Then again I don’t have to. I hope to find or be found in a more poetic way.

l love the contrast you show… poetry…not something that happens to you ,,,rather something that comes from a fire within… Well said, Vivian.
