Great poem. I always wonder why it is that we as humans would do something different if we knew it was our last day than we would on any other day. Since any day could be our last, shouldn’t we always bounce on the balls of our feet and forgive our enemies?

I really like the repetition. It’s quite brave in such a short piece. You’ve made me think of tennis players, responding to the ball as it comes towards them.

Oh, a triolet! I didn’t notice, sorry. Though I think that’s a compliment, actually, as it obviously just flowed. Sometimes forms can seem a bit stilted. Impressed that you managed a triolet with a word count!

Forgiveness is more about us than anything, but it’s not easy. I think there are a few that I couldn’t honestly forgive even if it were my last day. Good work!
