The exhibition was due to start in an hour. Marley had cajoled her room-mate, Sue, into coming along.
Edgar, her fiancé had invited her to his first-ever showing. He had planned a grand late-entry and had asked her to invite as many people as she could.
As they rounded the corner, Marley stopped dead. Taking in the scene before them, she could feel Sue’s suppressed giggles.
This was the ugliest thing she’d ever seen! Hanging, hole-y nets? Come on!
Among the thoughts that flooded her mind, the top-most one was, when should she start lying to her future husband to-be?
