Cheryl watched Mark tuck into his food with gusto.
“Not hungry?” he asked, between mouthfuls.
“I’ve put cyanide in yours.”
Mark gaped at his wife, stunned.
“You see, I’ve found your emails linking you to that bombing yesterday,” she hissed. “You’ve brought disgrace to our family!!”
Marks face was a riptide of emotions as he gurgled, clutching at his throat.
Cheryl strode to the door, letting visitors in.
“Get rid of the body immediately,” she screamed, “This fool has compromised our mission. We need to move!”
“Yes Boss! “came the urgent replies.
Mark died not knowing who “Boss” was.
