Life, a transaction

For every action

An equal

Or over-reaction

Give kindness

You will attract love

Dress Natty,

You will be hailed

Give your time

You will gain friends

From now to the end

Show mercy

At every opportunity

Or be treated

With impunity

Never exact revenge

Not even for a spell

You’ll get just one result

You will get HELL

Especially like this part:

“For every action
An equal
Or over-reaction …”

Taking a phrase often heard in the context of dispassionate fundamental forces (physics), applying to the human realm, then giving it a wry twist to really home it into the human condition… nice! 🙂
