He fooled all the people
Some of the time
Some of the people
All the time
Those adrift, were asinine
Some compared notes
Others took votes
Their hearts in their throats
Soon to discover they
Were all in the same boat
They found his three faces:
The Dark one:
The Face of Un-ending Harm
The Proud One:
The Face of Abject Hubris
But more than this
That caused much alarm
Was
The Deceptive One:
The Face
Of Unbelievable Charm

Nice sound. If the charm is unbelievable one needs to look for what is.

Charm is short-lived. The mask was clear to most of us. Thanks for joining in with prompt!
